Didactic & Suture Training with Lab, Thursday-Saturday, May 28 – 30, 2020
Attend the full 3 day LIGO course and learn TLH techniques and advanced general laparoscopic procedures with the latest technology, using videos, didactics and pelvic trainers. Surgeons will learn multiple techniques for vaginal, bowel and bladder closures. The human cadaver lab will enable surgeons to perform the procedures that they have learned in the first two days. Four surgeons per cadaver.
Early Registration is on Wednesday, May 27; at 6:00 pm, there will be a Welcome Reception and Suture Cafe.

- Open retroperitoneum from left side
- Identify retroperitoneal landmarks
- Resect four nodal packages from left side
- Access retroperitoneum by transperitoneal approach
- Perform radical pelvic lymphadenectomy
- Perform radical laparoscopic hysterectomy
- Perform appendectomy, omentectomy
- Create 2cm cystotomy and close it
- Perform resection of diaphragm peritoneum
- Optional: laparoscopic splenectomy, cholecystectomy, etc.
